E-shop representing a progressive street wear brand from Chile.

Vision of the project

Creating a platform to showcase and sell handmade designed t-shirts and other clothes from a progressive street wear brand from Chile – Muelle Roots. The main idea was to allow people to comfortably navigate through the portfolio and automatise the sales process.

The design

After an initial investigation I have decided to use a minimalist approach in this project with a subtle colour pallet and a simple font to let the colourful clothing designs stand out. The teal punchy colour was included to underline the progressive character of muelleroot’s brand.

Open sans

Open Sans was designed with an upright stress, open forms and a neutral, yet friendly appearance. It was optimized for print, web, and mobile interfaces, and has excellent legibility characteristics in its letterforms.

The website

Website was done in the following minimalist approach. The goal of the landing page was to clearly communicate what the E-shop offers. The website implements E-commerce functionalities including payment with card.

The results

Luis is now able showcase his products. He updates the portfolio himself whenever new design are ready. He was able to scale up his sales and bring new traffic to his website. Many of the visitors converted into followers on instagram where the marketing is being focused into.
